What happens if nts expires

If the allotted time expires and you have not scheduled and taken your Exam, all fees will be forfeited. It is strongly suggested that you do not apply for a section of the CPA Exam until you are ready to take it. If you do not take all sections you registered for before the NTS expires, you will not be able to extend the time or receive a refund of fees.

If an NTS expires, you will need to submit a new application, including application and testing fees. Fees submitted for an expired NTS cannot be applied to future Exams. You cannot have more than one open NTS for the same section, and you must receive the score or allow the NTS to expire before you can apply for the same section again and receive a new NTS for that section. Your name. Your email. Your message optional.

Message optional. Contact Us About Us Careers. The fees charged by the Board must be paid by check or money order made payable to the "Kentucky State Board of Accountancy". Failure to pay these fees within the day period will result in the cancellation of the ATT and the candidate must file a re-exam application with the Board. The name on the NTS must exactly match the name listed on the primary identification. The testing center has very strict rules that must be followed.

Failure to follow these rules may result in cancellation of the test. Upon receipt of the NTS, a candidate should contact Prometric to schedule the exam. How long do I have to apply for my CPA certificate? You have three years from when you were notified that you passed the final section of the CPA exam to complete the remaining requirements of certification education, self-study ethics exam, one year of experience and apply for your initial certificate.

Once all requirements are met, you can then apply for your CPA certificate through the Minnesota Board of Accountancy. If you do not meet all requirements within three years, you must also submit a report showing that you completed hours of CPE.

For an owner of a CPA firm or employee of a CPA firm, State Auditor or Legislative Auditor, you have 60 days in which to file your application for certification with the Minnesota Board of Accountancy once the education, exam and experience requirements are met.

When am I required to take continuing professional education CPE? Questions about exam eligibility, your application or other details should be directed to the Minnesota coordinator at NASBA.
