Should i upgrade my gtx 560

GPU wise as i posted above, a ti is like a , , Any card around each will also perform better than the ti anyway, just pick whatever you can find thats cheapest, a , , , , etc. Just make sure your power supply is up to the task of powering the more high end cards.

If youre not sure and you dont know if your PSU is up to the task, a ti is a much lower wattage card and will run usually with just pcie power no connectors, slot power only or with a single 6 pin. Goes good, and I didnt have to upgrade my power supply or change out my motherboard which I would have had to do, had I gone with a or higher.

Easy hitting 60FPS when by myself in mesh body and lots of mesh attachments. Marginally higher when crank the configuration to Ultra. Marginally higher meaning about FPS extra on Ultra overall scenes. Just a whole lot more pixels and crisper view which is why I got it. If a new computer is not an option, I would suggest the following. I added up the cost of the Samsung and a 4 GB memory to add, and one of the graphic cards discussed in previous posts, and it equals a new computer with 4 GB memory, same as I have now, an Intel UHD Graphics and a Intel Celeron two cores. And the used market is in the same price range unless they start to call it "gamer". It really looks like separate parts is the best for the money. Edited December 9, by Marianne Little.

Resi Pfeffer Posted December 11, Posted December 11, But its not helping. Am on Windows 10 now, but otherwise the spec is as below. I don't really play games at all on this PC, so am reluctant to shell out for a new graphics card, but the crashing is doing my head in. I'm guessing I need to upgrade the graphics card. It's only really to drive two 24 inch monitors normal, not 5k , and to have Photoshop run smoothly and not crash.

So i want to spend the minimum I can to do that. Am long out of the upgrade game So thought I'd get you guys advice What would you recommend? Thanks guys. Grandmaster Fap! Can get a decent second hand for about , that would power through anything in Photoshop I know as i have one and i use PS. I'd also google if it's compatible with your motherboard, I upgraded my old i7 rig and had some issues with my motherboard and GFX card working together.

Physically it'll fit no problem. You need 16gb minimum. Image manipulation can use a lot of RAM especially if you are using photos straight off a camera for instance. Each device will allow p gaming with Ultra settings, for the titles tested, and can scale to p with slightly lower settings. NVidia tends to be more consistent in its driver performance for frametime consistency with the GTX The RX isn't a bad option — AMD's significantly improved its drivers since our review , the company just has some more progress to make in some titles.

Ultimately, given the fairly close performance, this will come down to price and partners. The GTX 3GB, despite our issues with its naming and market positioning, is doing well for its price position. We hope that you can take this data and make purchasing decisions, as AIB partner models will ultimately dictate which card should be bought.

Oct 9, 5, 1, No way 3gb Its way to short investment horisont. Comming from a it looks like the cards is kept for years and a card better fit for future api used in the ps4pro and with 4gb is just a far safer bet.

Historical data just points that way. Take the 4gb. Its cheaper lean and a monster upgrade from Jul 24, 9, 1, I'm going to have to check benchmarks, but wouldn't the Ti be an upgrade from the Ti? Thanks for the suggestions so far. It looks like with my budget I'll be looking at the RX or RX 4gb models unless an insanely stellar deal pops up.

Not likely but fingers crossed. I was wrong. Is that going to be good enough for these cards? I noticed the Newegg specification page mentions a watt psu is recommended or necessary depending on the card. Headfoot Diamond Member. Feb 28, 4, Reactions: VirtualLarry. Arachnotronic said:. Should be OK. Headfoot said:. Given how long your son kept that other card card in it would be a good idea to see if you cant bump the budget just a little bit to get either 6GB or 8GB 8GB or 6GB.

The only reason he can keep using that Ti this long is because you got the 2GB version instead of 1.
